Founded in 2025 by franco-italian composer and sound engineer; Galen Tucci-Boissonneault, Hybrid Sound is a testament to the incessant curiosity, perfectionism and resourcefulness of the modern day musician. Have you ever listened to a record and thought to yourself: "Wow! How do they get that sound?" Finding that out has been this Studio's very mantra since before it was even born.

From its humble debut as nothing more than a home studio in a bedroom apartment, curiosity fed Galen's growing interest into music production, analog equipment and its history - as well its limitations. With his studio rapidly gaining in size, Galen decided to redefine his entire workflow to balance out the weaknesses of hardware with the versatility of software, and add the richness of analog sound into digital production, in both electronic and acoustic music alike.

Mentored by industry veterans such as Daniel Lanois, Simon L'Espérance and Thierry Gauthier, Galen quickly put his learnings to use, producing cohorts and local artists. His knack for recording and mixing quickly caught the attention of many, causing Galen to open his services to the public.
